So I finally got round to taking my Syncro in for its roadworthy. The people at AA Midrand was very helpful, so I thought I would pay it forward by documenting the essential tips for getting through the test.
Here goes:
1) Do the test BEFORE you fit the rooftop tent otherwise you cannot get into the building.
2) Smile.
We (myself and Adri) eventually got through the back door. The bus fitted with 5mm to spare (no lies)
Coming out was even more fun and we had to pile in all the AA staff to weigh down the bus. It really was one of those moments where you need a video camera.
